Natural Movement Training in the Lewisville and Dallas Fort Worth area

Zack Johnson

..driven by an anthropological fascination to train wholistically

Zack Johnson is a treasured part of our team here at Structural Elements. Zack comes to the movement training world with one clear intention: to help his students access more adaptability and resilience. His interest is in meeting people where they are and helping them rediscover the strength and the pliability our counterparts enjoyed for thousands of years before this technological age. He is keenly aware of our need to play and refine natural movement. In the spirit of Georges Hébert , or more recently, Erwan Le Corre, Zack is driven by an anthropological fascination. He is pursuing advanced certifications in the MovNat® system. He is a Level III Certified MovNat® Trainer. Zack is an assiduous Martial Arts practitioner. He currently holds a Yellow Sash in Kung Fu from The School of Self Awareness. As an avid endurance runner with a degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Texas A&M University (2018), Zack is well credentialed as a movement teacher.

Zack is a dyed-in-the-wool athlete. When training his students he is able to draw from his experience in high school sports, his time playing collegiate club baseball for the A&M corps of cadets and his experience playing in the American Israeli Football League (AIFL) in Israel. He is also a hard-working rancher. He divides his time between movement training and his work on a family ranch in the big state of Texas. Zack makes concerted efforts to stay strong and pliable in order to run cattle, mend fences and to perform many other ranching duties across almost 6,000 acres. He is a lifelong learner, always attentive to his own movement development. As a trainer he is not afraid to help his students explore their limits. As they bump into skill building opportunities his students are easily encouraged to excel by Zack’s gentle and friendly coaching manner. Zack works, plays and trains alongside his talented and beautiful wife Kali Johnson and Structural Elements partner Isaac Chilton.
